V S is available up to 12 HP (9.6 Ton) and a maximum of 19 indoor units can be connected with one outdoor unit. The compact, trunk-shaped outdoor unit can easily be installed on a balcony or ledge creating a spick and span space around the building.

The Daikin VRV S Outdoor unit RX(Y)MQ5 is a single-phase, inverter-controlled outdoor unit that is part of Daikin's VRV S series of variable refrigerant volume (VRV) air conditioning systems. It is designed for use in small offices, shops, and other commercial applications.

The RX(Y)MQ5 has a cooling capacity of 12,000 Btu/h (3.5 kW) and a heating capacity of 13,200 Btu/h (4.0 kW). It is also available in a number of other capacities, ranging from 4,000 Btu/h (1.2 kW) to 36,000 Btu/h (10.5 kW).

The RX(Y)MQ5 is a quiet operation, with a sound level of only 51 dB(A) in cooling mode. It is also energy-efficient, with an SEER of up to 21.0.
